The Mevo Gen2 gives you 18 data points, simulator play and E6 courses with no yearly plan. That makes it cheaper to own than several units with lower sticker prices. It needs a deep room and careful alignment, and it uses your phone as its screen.

What it measures
The Mevo Gen2 reports 18 parameters, from ball speed, launch and spin to club speed and attack angle. It uses Doppler radar for the ball flight and a camera to help with impact data.
Room and setup
It sits behind the ball, so indoors it needs about 16 ft of total depth. Alignment matters more than with most units: testers found that a misaligned Mevo drifts in direction and carry, so take the time to set it up square to the target.
Subscription and real cost
None required. Eight E6 courses come included, and an optional one-time Pro Package adds more features. At $1,299, it's the same three-year cost as a list-price MLM2PRO with its plan.
What to know before buying
- Uses your phone or tablet as its display.
- Battery life is shorter than some rivals.
- Alignment errors show up in the numbers.
